What is true wellness? Is it the mere absence of disease or dis-ease? What if you are perfectly healthy and in-shape, but are depressed or suffering from anxiety? Is this considered healthy? No!!!

Wellness is when your mind, body and spirit are all functioning at its optimal level. To achieve this we stress chiropractic care. If you have a vertebral subluxation complex (vsc) in your spine, as described on our home page, then one cannot live optimally. If your vsc is severe enough to cause pain, then the pain itself is enough to interfere with you optimal wellness. And if you have a vsc that is not severe enough to cause pain, it will still interfere with your wellness because it will be disrupting the two-way communication between your brain and your body.

Removing Toxins: To remove toxins we recommend the ionized foot bath to take heavy metals out of your body. Heavy metals have been linked to Alzheimer's as well as autoimmune diseases. We also recommend a regimented fast to cleanse your colon. By doing this you will unclog your intestines, so you may absorb nutrients more efficiently. We will also teach you how to replenish your bodies' natural flora, which produces enzymes and vitamins B1, B2 and B12.

Healthy Eating: Studies have shown that organic food have on average 30% greater nutritional value then non-organically grown food. Organic food also does not have the poisons that non-organically grown food has. Also, live foods should be part of your daily diet routine (fruits and vegetables).

Stretching and Exercise: Stretching and Exercise will not only correct bodily dysfunction's but also to get into optimal shape. Performing stretches and exercises in an incorrect manner can be just as harmful as it can be beneficial. For this reason we will teach you the right stretches for your needs and refer you to a personal trainer. Personal training can be expensive, but like Master Card, the results can be priceless!

Stress And Sleeping: The #1 cause of death in the United States is heart attack. The #1 form of heart attack is stress related. In-fact, studies have shown that the #1 time to die is 9 AM Monday morning. The theory is you go from a nice relaxing weekend to a stressful work atmosphere. So stress reduction is something we will definitely try to achieve with you. Part of this stress reduction will be your sleeping habits. Sleeping position is very important. If you are sleeping in a particular position that puts stress on your spine, then that can mean stress on your spine for hours at a time. Also, is your bed right for you? We spend 1/3 of our life in bed. Our choice in a bed should not be dictated by price but by comfort and support. If after addressing all your stress factors and we feel it is beyond our expertise, then we will recommend a professional counselor.
